What we treat
Sagging skin, jowls and neck
Early jowls, a jawline that is softening, loose skin on the neck, or cheeks that have started to drift. This is the concern where expectations matter most, because non-surgical tightening is real but modest. We will tell you where you sit on that spectrum.
Why it happens
Three things happen at once: the skin loses collagen and elastin, the fat pads in the face shrink and descend, and the ligaments that hold everything in place loosen. Treatments that only address the skin help mild laxity. Moderate laxity usually needs skin tightening plus volume. Significant laxity is a surgical conversation, and we will say so rather than sell you a series that will disappoint.
What we recommend
Morpheus8, the foundation
Radiofrequency delivered deep enough to remodel the layer that actually holds the face up. The best non-surgical option we have for jawline, jowls and neck. Three sessions, results that keep building for six months.
Sculptra for the volume side of the problem
If the sag is partly deflation, tightening skin over an empty space does not work. Sculptra rebuilds structural volume in the cheeks and temples so the skin has something to drape over.
EMface for early laxity, no needles
Tones the lifting muscles of the face and stimulates collagen without any downtime. Good for people in their 30s and 40s who want to get ahead of it, and as maintenance after Morpheus8.
CO2 laser when texture and laxity go together
Resurfacing contracts the skin as it heals. For crepey neck skin and fine laxity around the mouth it does double duty. A week of downtime.
What we would tell you honestly
No device replaces a facelift. For mild to moderate laxity, the combination above can take years off a jawline and hold it there with maintenance. For heavy jowls or a neck with significant loose skin, we will tell you that a surgeon is the honest answer, and we are happy to refer you.
