PRP in Beverly Hills
PRP, or platelet-rich plasma, is a concentrate made from your own blood. We use it to support thinning hair, thin under-eye skin, and skin texture, often alongside microneedling. Every treatment plan is physician-led, under the direction of Dr. Justin Donlan, a board-certified internal medicine physician.
Is PRP Right for You?
Good Fit
- You want a regenerative option that uses your own biology.
- You have early hair thinning, thin under-eye skin, or uneven texture.
- You prefer gradual, natural-looking change.
- You are open to a series of treatments.
Not a Good Fit
- You have a blood or platelet disorder, or take blood thinners.
- You have an active infection in the treatment area.
- You are undergoing active cancer treatment.
- You want dramatic or immediate change.
How It Works
We draw a small amount of your blood and spin it in a centrifuge to separate a concentrate of platelets. Platelets carry growth factors involved in healing and repair.
Depending on your goal, the concentrate is injected into the scalp or under-eye skin, or applied to the skin right after microneedling.
Cosmetic uses of PRP are off-label. The evidence is promising in some areas and early in others, and we will be clear about which is which.

Common Questions
How much does PRP cost?
Pricing depends on the area and number of sessions. We give you a specific quote at your consultation.
Is PRP safe?
Because PRP comes from your own blood, allergic reactions are rare. We review your health history first, since some conditions and medications affect platelets.
Does it hurt?
It depends on the area. We numb the skin first, and most patients feel pressure and brief stinging.
How many sessions will I need?
Most plans start with 3 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, followed by maintenance.
What can PRP treat?
We use it for thinning hair, thin under-eye skin, and skin texture, often combined with microneedling.
Who performs the treatment?
Our treatments are physician-led. Dr. Justin Donlan, board-certified in internal medicine, directs every treatment plan, and you will always know who is treating you and their role.
What are the side effects?
Tenderness, swelling, redness, and bruising are common and brief. Infection is uncommon.
