PRP

What is PRP?

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a concentrated form of blood plasma that contains a high concentration of platelets, growth factors, and cytokines. PRP is derived from the patient's own blood, which is processed through a centrifugation process that separates the platelets and plasma from the red and white blood cells. The resulting PRP has a higher concentration of platelets compared to normal blood, which is believed to promote the body's natural healing and regenerative processes.
